We live and learn.  For the first few takes with my new shotgun mic, I
forgot there was a 'power' switch.  Lesson learnt!

Don't forget that still camera's only shoot video in the size they are
limited to do so, usually 480, 720 or 1080 i or p (vertical), NOT with the
'native' still camera pixels for the best resolution they were designed
for....sorry!
(Although in my book, more pixels means more information by design....)
