I do HD editing in FCP on a daily bases and am very pleased with it.
But everytime new versions come out, many get nervous. Well I don't.
I'm happy with the current version of FCP and won't upgrade to FCX
soon because then I'll also have to upgrade my hardware probably so
that is going to be an >$3000 joke. I like to continue using outdated
soft- and hardware as long as possible. I agree though that many are
(considering) jumping to Premiere, whereever you read you see FCP
users having nothing but praise for Premiere and I'm getting more and
more curious too about the new versions.
