Check whether your tracks 5-8 are surround sound 5.1 tracks.
In that case you would find a small 5.1 on the right of the track name 
(eg Track 6).
Stereo tracks have a "stereo" symbol at that place (two triangles 
pointing at each other).
If you have no 5.1 sound delete those tracks and create new ones.
When you do so you will be asked whether you want the track to be 
stereo, mono or 5.1.
The mono track symbol is one triangle.
