I read in a (UK) magazine yesterday of a camera that 'captures' the photonic
elements of a scene or image, resulting in all elements, textures and
anything else you would like to throw into the pot, giving you the ability
to point the camera at a subject or subjects and decide after which parts
are in focus or not, the contrast and anything else it seems.  True 'RAW' in
an ideal world I guess.

Suppose if you add this with the 3D 'printing' machine (replicator) and all
the other things we said were impossible 15-20 years ago, it shows the age
of some of us...

Now, if only I could find a transporter....(to the take away!)
