My dual boot system has come to the rescue again.
I downloaded your program and wanted to install it in XP when I found 
Audition 3 still
installed there. It has the function Generate>Tones which does the job.
Why on earth would they remove that from a later version????
I can't find it in 5.5.

Will install your program sometimes (during a dull moment:-) ) to check 
what else it can do.
