If you edit in 30fps rather than 29.97fps (if that is what the camera shoots
in, or visa versa), then obviously there will be lags and strange things
happening.

Same with 24fps...IE...23.976fps.

AKA Dropframe.

(Its there for the color info or something.)

Wonder if that's what's happening?

Thankfully, we don't suffer from any of that over here in the UK :-)
