I've been running up against a maddening problem with opening older
Premiere Pro projects (from CS3 to CS5.5, and sometimes from CS3 to
CS3): Premiere slips the start and end points of some clips in the
project a second to three seconds later from the master clip.
Needless to say, this ruins carefully placed in and out points and
throws the whole timing off in the sequence. I'm forced to go back in
and basically re-edit the project with the slip tool.
Has anyone else had problems like this and, if so, how did you solve
it? Other than rejiggering everything with the slip tool, that is.
Thanks,
Mike Boom
