Stupid questions do not exist.

I don't use Premiere at the moment, I use FCP 
which has a function to gather and copy all used 
media in a project to another single location, 
doesn't Premiere have a similar function? If not 
I agree with the other answer that in that case 
you should keep all the files you use for a 
project in one single folder so that when you 
move to another computer in the same network, you 
only have to link back to that one folder. But if 
you do it like this, you need to adapt your 
backup plan, make sure that after moving things 
to other locations, all the files you want to 
backup, are still being backed up.
