Project Manager works very well. You have to select whether to create
a new "trimmed project" or whether you want to collect files and copy
them to a new location.
If you want to use a project on another computer you would obviously use
the second option
and use an external drive as the new location.
When you open the project on the other computer you will be asked where
a specific file is.
Once you have specified one, Premiere will automatically find all the
others.
It is good practice to put all source files for project in one folder
anyway. Then you would not have to
use Project Manager and simply copy that folder to an external drive.
All that should be no problem
