Hi Lee,

I was advised to export all of my premiere edited files to MPEG2.

One of my peers said that this is the best way for Encore.
Which I think I did from my previous project 5 months ago and that is why I did
not have any problems back then.

Since my videos are 2 (1 hour ) sequences. It will take some time to export
them.

I will update everyone once I complete my export and try running Encore with
the blu ray again if it works.

Best Regards,
CB

Actually I am under the impression that Encore does necessary conversions for
you. If you specify writing to a Blu-Ray disk, a correct Blu-Ray is what you’ll
get. Additionally, I have a feeling that neither format nor bad disks will
cause C++ Runtime Errors, which generally implies a software error.

I might be wrong but in either case, have you done anything that made it work
yet?

Lee

Hi Greg,

Sorry I was typing my email really late last night with all the typos.
I meant my system is 64 bit.

I also got a recommendation to output on MPEG2 instead of h264 so I'm going to
try that.

Best Regards,
CB

6 bit Windows? There's your problem. ;) 58 bits gone missing...

Are you using discs from the same spindle you were 5 months ago? Use this
utility to identify the real manufacturer of the discs.

http://dvd.identifier.cdfreaks.com

Even the big name brands often put their name on discs manufactured by another
company, the biggest of which are in India.
