I recorded a musical performance on July 5, 2012 at the Windsor Art Center in
Windsor Connecticut. I record almost all the performances at the Art Center
(sample:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gXU5PkaV25o&feature=BFa&list=UU18WKFNjpsyVuI-T3ETuKdg
) and the two performers, a violinist and a guitarist, gave their very
enthusiastic permission. I edited the audio because the violin overwhelmed the
guitar and I posted a sample clip on Youtube unlisted so the two performers
could approve the audio. The guitar player replied that the audio balance was
perfect and the violinist did not reply. I sent each of them a DVD of the
edited footage and asked for permission to post a portion on Youtube and to
broadcast the performance on my local access TV station. The guitarist replied
that he had received the DVD and liked it and he would check with the violinist
to let me know about Youtube and the local TV station. After that I never
heard from them.

One of the pieces they played was the world premiere of an original composition
that they had commissioned by a young composer who was present at the
performance. I sent a DVD of the performance to the composer also. He is very
anxious to have the recording of his piece posted on Youtube and is waiting to
hear from the performers. I emailed the performers again asking about posting
this one particular piece but they have not responded.

Do the composer and I have the right to post that one piece of the performance
on Youtube or do the performers own the right to the performance.
