There is the same function in older versions but I am not sure whether that
solves the problem where the images must fit the length of music.
I am also not sure whether the initial question was only for creating a 
slide show or
whether the stills were only part of a video, meaning that more editing 
would be
necessary.
Anyway, there are always different solutions to a problem.
