Over the last couple days, the Adonthell Wiki has been hit by some kind of spam bot. I have reverted all changes and spend the evening upgrading the Wiki software. While this alone will probably not help (have to watch what happens over the next days), it should allow us to use a captcha plugin or some such.
Or, maybe as a less drastic measure, I might customize the account creation code somewhat. That last bot entered the same text in the user and real name field, which would make it simple to filter out those kind of attempts. Please let me know if there are problems. Especially the image upload tends to break during upgrades.
