The ADSM 3.1 Admin Guide says "Overhead could increase the required space
up to an additional 25%". (page 351)
The TSM 4.1 Admin Guide says "Overhead could require up to 25% in additional
space". (page 590)
Most of us use the empirical approach of allocating a reasonable amount of
space to start. Then we monitor usage (which has to be done anyway) and
are prepared to add more db vols as necessary.
