Peter,
At the client, open the registry-editor and find the ADSM keys.
In those keys there's a path to the dsmsrvc.exe. This would look like
c:\program files\ibm\adsm\baclient\dsmsrvc.exe.
The path will not be found because of the space in program file. This is a
setting somewhere else in the registry, regarding long filename support.
Just change "program files" to "progra~1" and all should work fine.
Good Luck

Onderwerp: Windows NT Client scheduler
Hi there !
I have a problem with my ADSM Scheduler for Windows NT. When i try to start
it, it
tells me that it can't start the service:
Could not start the ADSM Scheduler service on \\xxxxxx
Error 0193: %1 is not a valid Windows NT application.
This only happens on one Windows NT server ver. 4.0 SP 4.
I'am running ADSM ver. 3.1.2.58 under AIX.
I hope that anyone out there can help me, i have tryied to reboot the
server, uninstall and
install the ADSM client again, but nothing works.
Kind regards.
Peter
