you can try with audit vol U00117 fix=yes, for try to fix errors on tape; but if
library don't read the tape's label you must delete it !! with this command :
del vol U00117 discardd=yes

After upgrading our TSM-server to 3.7.3.8 we get the following errors quite
sometimes every day on different volumes and on different drives:
09/19/00 12:36:32 ANR8341I End-of-volume reached for 3590 volume U00117.
09/19/00 12:36:36 ANR8336I Verifying label of 3590 volume U00117 in drive
3590-6 (/dev/rmt6).
09/19/00 12:36:39 ANR8355E I/O error reading label for volume U00117 in
drive 3590-6 (/dev/rmt6).
AUDIT VOLUME doesn't give any clue, AUDIT LIBRARY doesn't tell anything also.
Atape 5.3.9.0 and atldd 4.0.8.0.
Does anyone see this before and/or has any clue?
