Yes... Offsite copy pool volumes will be reclaimed when the reclamation
threshold for your copypool has been reached. Tapes with access=offsite and
in the copypool do not need to have a FULL status to be reclaimed. Once a
copypool volume with an access=offsite has been reclaimed, it will have a
status=empty. Once it has an empty status, bring the tape on-site and
update the access from access=offsite to access=readw. After you change the
status to readwrite, the tape will be deleted from the copypool and then can
be used as a scratch tape once again.

Subject: Offsite media reclaimation

Hi
When I manually update a copypoolvolume with access=offsite, put it in the
vault, and it still has volume status "Filling", will it then be reclaimed
if it reaches reclaimation threshold for the copypool ? Or does it need to
have volume status "Full" to be reclaimed ? If it does, how do I circumvent
this problem ?

TIA for any answers.
BR
Anders
