We have a customer that will have an HACMP cluster consisting of 2 S7A's that are SP attached. They will be running SAP40B and ORacle 8.0.4.4. The database will live on an EMC array and will have BCV's ( Third mirror's) allocated. We also have a TSM server that is another S7A that is SP attached and has access to the same disk drives. We also have EMC's Time Finder software that allows us to split off this third mirror and re-establish it. The customer is requesting On-line split mirror backups. This requires us to split the mirror, mount the disks on the TSM server, start SAP/Oracle on the TSM server and back the data up with TDP for R3.
