Hello,
I understand that having to support a large number of client levels is hard
for the developers and may even cause many software bugs. On the other hand,
keeping a large number of clients on a current software level is hard for
us. With 750 clients my site is of moderate size. Some neighbour
universities have several thousands of clients. Some of these clients cannot
be upgraded, because the machines are rather old.
I would rather prefer to use a stable client until the physical end of life
of the machine.
Best regards
Gerhard
