We've done a lot of TSM on NT.  Works well.  Where it works better is on
Windows 2000.  It appears, in our early experiences, that the IP stack is
better and that memory and processor utilization is better.  If you go with
an Intel platform, consider 2000 rather than NT.

That said, AIX is still probably the better performing platform.  But if you
don't have AIX expertise and don't want it, Windows should be fine for all
but the very largest environments.  We recently installed a very large
Windows 2000 TSM cluster using STK Powderhorn, SAN attached storage and 9840
drives.  This system is a screamer.  I'm not sure a similarly configured RS
box would be doing any better.

I'am in the middel off an opgrade to TSM 4.1.1 and i'am not sure whitch
platform to install
my new TSM server on. Does any off you have any expirence in running TSM on
Windows NT
or AIX (unix) ?

Please help, the easyest for me is installing TSM on NT, but if there is
any traps or performance
issues i wold like to know ?
