Thanks Richard for replying .
I updated all tapes in copypool as readwrite , and then deleted all .. it
worked but for 55 tapes , it was painful to do so.
TSM does not accept "volrange " option for this command .as it does checkin
and checkout ..
Now I am backingup tapepool to another copypool named copypool1 . ( backup
tapepool stggpool=copypool1 )

MED400 UNIXPOOL STK9710 35,840.0 1.0 Filling
MED403 TAPEPOOL STK9710 71,680.0 6.4 Filling
MED404 TAPEPOOL STK9710 41,357.5 34.6 Full
MED412 COPYPOOL1 STK9710 37,691.9 100.0 Full
MED508 COPYPOOL1 STK9710 71,680.0 14.1 Filling
MED518 TAPEPOOL STK9710 46,213.9 23.0 Full
MED533 TAPEPOOL STK9710 35,267.2 27.3 Full
MED554 TAPEPOOL STK9710 37,968.7 85.1 Full
MED563 TAPEPOOL STK9710 71,680.0 14.5 Filling

But will TSM backup tapepool to copypool (which i deleted ) , and create it
as it was original one. or do i have to create it with the above command?

Thanks.
Shekhar

Shekhar - If the 14 corresponds to the value in Admin Guide appendix C,
then it suggests that the volume may not be available. Do a
full query on the volume to check its existence and state. I should
think there would be a further indication of the problem in the Activity
Log, but maybe not.

ANS messages are client messages (admin client, in this case), so the
server Help has no info on them.
