British Summer Time (daylight saving time in UK) ends this weekend. I have just done a test by rolling the time forward on a test NT client and it appears that I should expect the first backup after the end of BST will be a full backup! I've tried this with 3.7 and 4.1 TSM clients for Windows and the result is the same. I can't remember having this problem before I upgraded from the v3.1 client software. Both the client and the server are running on NT with the option to automatically adjust for daylight savings changes enabled. What am I missing? Surely TSM uses the UCT timestamp on the file. Has anybody else encountered this? I really don't want to come to work next week if the first backup of all my TSM clients is going to backup everything.
