We just saw this problem with client code that Tivoli shipped to us in the
latter part of August 2000. The first of the messages referenced above is
dated July 21, 1999. The text of that message begins "Yes, I posted a
workaround in this forum before" indicating that the initial discovery of the
problem is even earlier than the date of that piece of mail. Why have IBM and
Tivoli allowed this issue to drag on for so long with workarounds but no fixes?
