There is a TDP for SAP R/3 product which today only support Oracle
DBs, DB/2 DB support should be coming soon.
There is also TDP for MS SQL Server. It does not take advantage
of the SAP R/3 functions such as brbackup/brarchive though. I would
say this is the best solution for your environment today.

Subject: TDP for SAP R/3 with MS/SQL database
Greetings,
Which TDP product would be required for an SAP R/3 application on
WindowsNT with Microsoft SQL database? As I understand it, the TDP for SAP
R/3 uses the Oracle RMAN interface. Will this, or will this not, work with
MS/SQL database? Is there something I am missing?
TIA,
