Folks, We will soon be upgrading our current ADSM 3.1.2.50 server to TSM 3.7 or 4.1. Our current server runs on OS390 2.4 and our new server will also run on the same operating system level for a while until we upgrade to OS390 2.7. My question relates to the announcement letters that i have read regarding the OS level that is required to run TSM 4.1. The announcement letters seem to say that 4.1 will only run on OS390 2.8 and above. Is there anybody out there running TSM 4.1 on OS390 and what levels of OS and TSM do you use?. There is also some confusion as to what level of client software is required to backup USS (Unix System Servives,formeley Open Edition) on OS390 2.4 and 2.7. Can any one help?
