Flashcopy support in next TDP agent for Oracle

Hi:
I just saw the announcement for the next release of the Oracle TDP supporting 
Flashcopy on the ESS server.
In our shop we use the TDP for MS-SQL, but for Oracle we use SQL-BACKTRACK. The 
primary reason for this is that the TDP agent requires configuring RMAN while 
SQL-BACKTRACK does not, and the DBS prefer the simplier implementation.
Does anyone know if the next TDP agent for Oracle is also RMAN dependent?
