exabyte mammoth-2 tape drives and adsm v3.1.2.50

Are any of you *SMers using the exabyte mammoth-2 tape drives under adsm
v3.1.2.50 running on aix 4.2.1? I know the mammoth-1 drives work fine.

They do not show as being supported on v3.1.2, only 3.7.3 and up but
since they are defined as other scsi devices in aix they might work ok.

Your experiences if any?
