Just use
REGISTER LIC MANAGEDSYSLAN 45
The syntax was changed after the manuals were published and
documented in the readme file.

i dont think that i am that blind ,but i can't seem to get the register
license command to work
like the manal says
since upgrading to 4.1.2 from 3.7 on os390. my licenses are not valid, i
know
that i have to register them but the register command fails..
this is the syntax as described in the admin reference quide
REGISTER LIC MANAGEDSYSLAN NUMBER=45
Error message: ANR2020E REGISTER LICENSE: Invalid parameter -
MANAGEDSYSLAN.
