3.7.4 -> 4.1.2 upgradedb problem : Help !!! I am in sh...

I upgraded my TSM Server (NT4.0 SP6) from 3.7.4 to 4.1.2 but
the dsmserv upgradedb gives the following error message :

dsmserv: asinit.c(341) : Error converting volume attribs for devclass
LTOCLASS

IBM SPOC is aware of the problem but no fix is available.

What could be a work-around ? (I tried to remove the LTOCLASS definition
from devconfig.out file but it did not help (probably due to LTOCLASS
references in volhist.out).
