For the disappearing includes/exludes - if this is the one caused by running
the wizard it is fixed in 4.12. (IC27249 - INCL/EXCL OPTIONS REMOVED FROM
DSM.OPT WHEN USING WIZARD TO SET
UP WEBCLIENT OR CLIENT SCHEDULER.) The 4.1 client readme said it was fixed
there but it wasn't. (This one actually just hit us recently. User ran
wizard, removed inlcudes that bound data to a mgmtclass that keeps 10 days
instead of 30 days. This node backups up 13 GB/ night. Took us a while but
we finally found where all of our storage pool space was going!)

I find Wanda and Tim's lists credible. Missing from the list are a
number of 4.1.2 installation issues such as disappearing
include/excludes and inability to provide a tailored dsm.opt.
This must be quite depressing or embarrassing to those in Tivoli that
work hard to make it a good product.
Maybe it's time for a new Tivoli management philosophy that supports
current customer needs, not the predominantly marketing view that
seems to exist now?
