Clean drive and they go off-line

Hi,
We have a 3590 drive attached to NT Server with TSM 3.7.3.0.  When TSM does
a automated clean of the drive with the cleaning tape left in the 3590 tape
unit, we find that the drive is off-line when we do a Q DRIVE.  We then
have to halt TSM then restart it which is frustrating to do all the time.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
