>From the WIN32 Client Readme:

"The system objects (first supported with the V3.7.2 client) require a
V3.7.3 or higher TSM server. All Windows 2000 System Objects, including
the Windows 2000 Registry and Windows 2000 Event Log, require the
logical file grouping enhancement first available with the V3.7.3
server."

So any server at 3.7.3 or higher is required and should be fine.

What level clinents do you have? I have TSM 3.7 server on AIX 4.3.3 qand
backup to it clinets that are version 3.1, 3.7 and 4.1 with no problem. Do
you actuallly have motre than one *SM server and is this a *SM server to *SM
server problem?

The 3.7 server should be able to handle all the clients I have listed above.
