We are and have been doing it. We are running SAP 3.1.I, AIX 4.3.3 on an
S80 which will soon be connected to an ESS F20 and we are at TSM 4.1.2 with
an ADSM 3.1 client. We haven't had a lot of issues. We generally have a
disk pool that drains to an optical with a tape copy pool. The
documentation isn't really great and the call in support kind of stinks but
the email support is pretty good.
