That will mark the DB2 backups inactive.  Now the management class rules
will dictate how long you keep the files in TSM - if retain last is 90
days, you'll have the backups for 90 days.

My DB2 backups go to a special management class, which has the retain last
set to 0 days, so TSM will delete the backups when DB2 does.

Peter logon to your aix system as user db2xxxx or user who is owner the db2
backups
and then run command :

db2adutl query full

you will show list of your db2backups

then run command

db2adutl delete full older than XX days.

your db2 backups will not expire until you dont run this command
