Do you have more then one adsm server connected to the tape library. We had
that problem when one server would "steal" a scratch tape from another
because the second server had as a second scratch category the first one's
private. Boy was that a bear to fix.

ANR8774W Volume 003063 not checked into library 3494NT but is using category
600.
What is this? anyone can help me.
