Try this :

delete in /etc/adsm a file named "servername", or better yet, delete all the
adsm directory under /etc, i had this problem once, and this solved it, be
aware that if you are using HSM, this might break something, if you are NOT
using HSM, then run dsmc sched, and it will ask for the node password, and
recreate the directory and filename, this should do the job.
