Hi Cahvdar.

DP for Hyper-V relies on Microsoft to provide incremental support. The
provided method uses differencing disk (avhdx) to keep changes between
backups. Other backup vendors may have different ways of tracking changes.

If you need to resize disk after a backup you don't have to merge avhdx
into parent vhdx file. You can shut down the VM and resize the avhdx file.
Than, during next backup, the changes in avhdx will be merged into vhdx
file. That's it. No need to do a full backup after disk resize. Incremental
backups chain will continue.

Regards,
Vadzim.
