Hello all, DRM here is set up the following: DB Backup Series Expiration Days: 7 Day(s) Recovery Plan File Expiration Days: 7 Day(s) Last week I implemented dbsnapshots, one per day, and an incremental, one per day, on top of the regular dbbackup. The dbbackup and incrementals remain in the library in case they are needed and the dbsnapshot goes offsite in case of a real disaster. Q volhist type=dbb shows a concurrent dbbackup and an incremental, except on the 27th because of some changes I was making, with the oldest date of April 24th. This exceeds the 7 days DRM is set to and I'm now wondering why DRM is not expiring those automatically. I have a script that runs to expire the dbsnapshot after 7 days and that works fine. I did read in the Admin Guide to let DRM handle expiring dbbackups and not run a script, I'm not sure if they meant dbsnapshots too. I will keep an eye on this again today to see if the dbbackup and incremental from the 24th go away today. In the mean time I'm wondering if anyone can tell me if I've got something missing in my setup.
