Am trying to do using rman - am fairly new to rman/ADSM. Running command something like this: rman target sys/XXXXXXXXXXX@SID rcvcat=rman/XXXXXXXXXX debug cmdfile=backup.rman.full.SID.sh msglog=/tmp/rman_SID.msglog trace=/tmp/rman_SID.trace The msglog shows this as the last item: RMAN-08522: input datafile fno=00002 name=/oracle/apps/oracle/oradata/SID/tools01.dbf Then no more output to the msglog. The trace file shows this: krmxrpc: xc=539432360 starting longrunning RPC #16 to target: DBMS_BACKUP_RESTORE.BACKUPPIECECREATE krmxr: xc=539432360 started long running rpc Then this comes out over and over until I cancel task: krmxpoq: xc=539432360, action="0000016 STARTED", col_l=15, ind=0, sid=25 krmxr: sleeping for 1 seconds Any ideas?
