Win32 client encryption

Hello ,
did anybody test Win32 version 4 client encryption ? How did encryption slow
down backup process ?
What throughput should I expect on 2 processor 1GHz PIII ?
Is it possible to use encryption with compression ? What is first
compression or encryption
( I believe compression but I didn't find any info in TSM documentation ) ?

Any help will be highly appreciated.
