Hello to all *SM'ers
One of my clients archives hung for about 3 hours with no errors in the activity
log...a query session showed the client to be in run status, but it did not send any
data to TSM for 3 hours.

I found this error in the clients dsmerror.log :
"07/19/01 08:31:24 sessRecvVerb: Error -50 from call to 'readRtn'."

I halted the TSM server (while session was still running) and brought it back up, the
client reconnected and all was well after that.

Has anyone seen this error before? What does it mean and what causes it? Also, how
much memory (RAM) would the client hogg while its trying to connect to a down TSM
server? My client has 3GIG of physical memory, and around the same time I halted TSM,
the client almost went to its knees because of low memory! My server is v4.1.3 &
client is v4.2 all on AIX 4.3.3

Any help would be appreciated
