What are you trying to restore?
If you use the GUI you should be able to go to File, Logon and put in the
server name of the server you want to restore FROM and it's ID and password,
just like you were logging on to it. When you open up your Restore window
you will see the server you want to restore from at the top. Open the
directory tree and select the files you want and then pick Following
Location for the Restore Destination Window and select where to put them.
Be careful about the choice you make for the restore directory structure.

It can be done from the command line too using the -fromnode option, but I'm
having problems with that myself right now.

Good luck , hope this helped.

Subject: restore/retrieve in different server ** URGENT **

Hi All

I am current running TSM Version 4, Release 1, Level 1.0 with NT 4 and I
would like to
know how I should proceed to execute a restore or retrieve in a different
server
from whose the original backup was made.

Thanks
Luciano Ariceto
