rename node

An HP Systems Admin. changed the hostname of an ADSM client.  We are at ADSM
Server 3.1.2.90 and ADSM client 3.1.0.8.  Does ADSM use the first hostname
in the /etc/hosts file?  There are a few aliases for this hostname in the
hosts file.  What changes do I need to make to ADSM to have backups run
under the new name?  Can I move previous backups that were ran as nodeA to
nodenewname?
