Matt,
The section you are reading about is for Oracle 8.0.x. Is this the Oracle
level you are running on? Try creating the link like mentioned in the
8.1.x section. I don't think it is even necessary to run the link command,
although you may have to.

I have tried creating the link manually, but no joy.
I have always ensured that the libobk.sl has been deleted from
${ORACLE_HOME} before performing the make command if I have created it by
hand.
Should I manually create the link, then run the Make? The installation
instruction specifically say to remove the link first.
I dont think the make is returning any errors, but it doesnt say anything
that makes nuch sense either. To me, it looks like it spits out a whole
set
of compiler options.
