We installed TSAUP7 on one of our Test Novell 5.1 SP3 Servers yesterday.
Server and TSM Backup/Restore operations look good now. But we'll watch a
few more days til we decide wether to install TSAUP7 on our productive
servers or not.

What SP & version of TSA500.nlm are you using? This sounds like a known
problem with Netware 5 & TSM.

Here is a previous post:
TSAUP7 is the answer, at least to the 'directory path not found' and 'file
not found' errors in SP3 and cluster environments.

I'm also having problems with my Netware 5 servers. My Novell people are
in
the process of upgrading these TSA's on 1 of my Netware 5 servers to test
this...

Hope this helps

Were there any messages in the dsmerror or dsmsched logs?

Subject: Netware 5.1 question

I have been scratching my head since installing netware 5.1 on some of our
servers. Backups are now reporting as failed, but I see no failures in the
logs. I am running 4.1.213, and again the problem occurs only on nw5.1,
nw4.11 is backing up without the rc=4.

Any ideas from the Wise Ones?

Cory
