Hi TSMers! I have a quick question. Recently we were backing up a directory that had millions of sub-dir's. I had excluded all files (using the basic exclude command) but alas realised too late that it still sent the directories themselves. As such we have used up space in our DB that did not need to be used. I have now changed the exclude to an exclude.dir, but will expiration eventually free up the space in the DB or is there something else I need to do. I can see that the entire dir is indeed being skipped which is great as it's sped up the backup time a great deal, but DB space is my new concern.
Thanks in advance for your help Farren Minns
