Uhmmmm, I don't remember where I saw it but isn't the old 2.x stuff actually "backint" code where the newer 3.x stuff is the TDP and I don't think you can restore any 2.x stuff with 3.x code
I've told all my users that as we upgrade from "backint" 2.4.x.6 code up to "tdp" 3.2.0.x that none of their old backups will be available through the new code ! I know I have some basis for that but I've slept since then and can't remember where/what in the vast amount of #$%^ I have brought me to that conclusion.
