Chad, Yes. You can exclude those files from the BA client backups. But, just to be sure... I would be a little more specific on your EXCLUDE statements for the BA client. More like: EXCLUDE \EXCHSRVR\...\*.EDB EXCLUDE \EXCHSRVR\...\EDB*.LOG If you haven't done so already, take a look at the following white paper titled "Microsoft Exchange 5.5 Disaster Recovery".
