Hi Sean! This will only stop pre-emption altogether. Chris wants to control the priority of housekeeping processes. This cannot be controlled. I too would like to be able to. I, for instance, think that a migrate process should have a higher priority than a reclaim or a backup stgpool. But currently, there is no way to influence this. My problem is, that if on my server several processes are running using all tape-stations, one more started e.g. "restore" kills one of the other processes. I want decide by setting the priority which of the processes can be cancelled and which should not. Thanks for any help Chris ********************************************************************** This e-mail and any attachment may contain confidential and privileged material intended for the addressee only.
