Windows TSM Client 4.2.0.0, Server 4.2.1 (probably) Most of the client's passwords expired all at once. The options file was set to passwordaccess generate. These clients did not conspire with the server to reset the passwords and now they are all unable to connect.
Any ideas why this might have happened? This is not per the documentation. The client and the server should have conspired to update the client and life goes merrily on. Thanks, Kelly J.
